23 a Special Week

week-23

It’s special because the number 23 is a lucky number of mine!

How far along? 23 Weeks. Little Robbie is the size of a grapefruit.
Total weight gain/loss: 13 pounds total. I seem to be gaining a lot each week right now. I asked the Dr. today and he said I am right on track, so I am going to be ok with it. 🙂
Maternity clothes? Regular pants and tank tops. Maternity T-shirts and sweaters.
Stretch marks? None yet
Sleep: No complaints!
Best moment this week: Going to our first Hypnosis for Birth Class at Nini Bambini and Carter’s first birthday!
Miss Anything? Nope! These last few weeks I have really felt like myself again. I am just really excited and I feel like it is flying by!
Movement: Yes. Sometimes it tickles, sometimes it feels weird, sometimes it makes it hard for me to fall asleep!
Food cravings: Nope just eating everything and anything in sight! I’ve really made it a point in the New Year to make sure what I am chowing down on is more whole foods and adding more vegetables!
Anything making you queasy or sick: No, but I definitely don’t love my salads and vegetables like I use to. 🙁 I kind of have to force them down. I am all about my Arbonne Shakes again though! Phew this makes me so happy because there are so much good protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals in them!
Belly: It doesn’t get in my way yet and is not uncomfortable for me. My long torso seems to be helping with keeping my belly on the smaller side right now.
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? IN
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, but I did have an emotional break down one day this week. It was a busy & crazy day at work, and I had a lot on my mind. Bobby and I talked and it made me feel better. I have a problem of holding things in and just letting them build and build until I explode. I have been trying to work on this!
Looking forward to: I have been really motivated lately and I am excited to work hard on all my business’. I am excited for Sara’s Arbonne Party on Friday!

Carter (my friend Ali’s Baby) turned one on January 8th! Time flies, I cannot believe how fast it went by! I remember holding him in the hospital the day after he was born like it was yesterday! Ali and Dan had his birthday party on the 10th and it was a lot of fun! So many exciting things going on with our friends right now…New House, babies, and engagements! Love all the positivity!!
We moved the bedrooms around this week! Our old bedroom will now be the nursery. We moved our office out of the front bedroom and into the loft above it. The front bedroom will now be our master bedroom.  The baby stuff in my closet (from all my amazing friends and family, Thank you. Feeling so fortunate already!) was starting to take over, so I was happy to now have a place to put it. It’s funny because I know a lot of people said you wont even really use the nursery until after a few months, but I am such a planner and I want it all organized. Also, after registering with my friend Ali I am in crazy purge mode. Bringing boxes to Goodwill to make sure I have room for all this baby stuff! It felt great to organize and I have plans to now work on all three of the closets downstairs! Is it too early for nesting? 🙂
Bobby and I went to our first birthing class this week. Very informative and I enjoyed it very much.  This class is a regular birthing class, but also teaches hypnosis for birth. We watch the documentary The Business of Being Born and are happy we did. It made us want to go a more natural during labor. Hypnosis is going to help a lot with that. I am going to write a post just about hypnosis for birth and what I’ve learned about it so stay tuned!
XOXO
